English Lavender
English Lavender grows anywhere from 2 1/2 to 3 feet.However, I can only grow mine to about 2 1/2 feet.
I have tried other lavenders, but only English Lavender seems to be hardy enough for me in Zone 5.

Definitely full sun with well drained soil.I tried to grow lavender in partial sun and it didn't do that well. Moved it to full sun and the plant doubled in size with a profusion of fragrant blooms.
Propagate by division or cuttings.
I have only been successful propagating my lavender by division in early spring.
English Lavender is hardy to zone 5-8.
Some Uses for English Lavender
I grow Lavender mostly for the grey foliage.It can be used in Peau Pourri, teas, sachets and baking as well.
Lavender repels moths, grows well in rock gardens, makes attractive edgings and attract bees to the garden.
